WPSL: Premier Media Group and WPSL ink game-changing stream production agreement

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Women’s Premier Soccer League and the Premier Media Group (PMG), owners of the National Soccer Network and affiliates, announced today a pioneering three-year partnership that will significantly improve and standardize match streaming quality across the league beginning with the 2025 season kicking off in May.

“We are extremely excited for this partnership [and] have worked for quite some time behind the scenes to find a national partner who can take our league [WPSL] wide streaming to the next level,” Sean Jones, WPSL president, said. “With this partnership, all of our games will be streamed at a very high quality and our fans will have a central location to find all of our games. From our perspective, this is a game changer.”

With the agreement, PMG will oversee production and broadcasting for the more than 600 WPSL games over the 2025 season. Production upgrades will include replays, graphics, and play-by-play commentary for all WPSL matches out of its suburban Detroit, Mich. studios. All WPSL games will stream live on WPSLTV.com, and through the NSN Network’s YouTube and Roku TV channels.

“We are excited to partner with one of the largest and influential women’s soccer leagues in the country and provide a consistent and elevated experience that should help take your league to new heights,” Jonathan Turner, Premier Media Group and National Soccer Network director of broadcasting, said.

The NSN features match streams and news from across the U.S. soccer spectrum—with a focus on providing unprecedented national exposure and consistent coverage to leagues in the lower levels of the U.S. soccer pyramid.

The agreement does not affect WPSL teams with local broadcast, streaming, production, or announcing agreements in place. Those teams will continue to be produced, announced, and broadcast through existing platforms, along with NSN channels.

Improved and standardized match broadcasts also benefits the league’s performance technology partner, Hudl, which entered its three-year partnership before the 2024 season providing digital tools, platforms, and data products to further the WPSL with its player, recruiting, and coaching development.

“We will strive to continue to deliver great broadcasts, live shows, great feature stories in written word and video, and much more across the U.S. Soccer pyramid,” Dan Stickradt, Premier Media Group and National Soccer Network director of news and web and content editor, said. “We are truly excited about this partnership and all partnerships across the country in 2025 and beyond.”
