USL W LEAGUE: Union FC Macomb signs U-M forward Ella Jablinskey for 2025 inaugural season

ROMEO, Mich. – Union FC Macomb announced Thursday that it has signed University of Michigan’s Ella Jablinskey for the 2025 USL W League season, pending league and federation approval.
Union FC Macomb is set for its debut season in the USL W League and will be coached by David Robertson and Gronthik Chatterjee. The club will play its home games at Romeo (Mich.) High School’s Barnabo Stadium.
Jablinskey, a native of St. Clair, Mich., who is listed as a forward, was named U-M’s 2024 Rookie of the Year playing a multitude of positions. She made eight appearances with six starts, collecting 17 total shots and four shots on goal for the Wolverines.
Jablinskey attended St. Clair High School and graduated in 2024. She grew up playing in the Nationals Soccer Club, starring mainly for the Nationals Girls Academy during her high school days. She has former U.S. Youth National Team experience and even helped the Nationals Girls Academy to a national semifinalist finish last year in the Girls Academy League postseason.
