MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Montgomery United FC announced Monday the signing of goalkeeper William Blake for the 2025 season. The signing is pending league approval.
Blake played the 2024 season for East Atlanta FC in USL League Two. He finished up his college career at Auburn University-Montgomery in the fall of 2024. Blake was an All-Gulf South Conference First Team honoree in 2023 and an All-GSC Second Team choice in 2024.
In the fall of 2024, he led Auburn University-Montgomery to the GSC Conference Tournament Championship while gaining All-tournament and Tournament MVP honors. He recorded 10 clean sheets during his senior campaign last fall for a team that qualified for the NCAA Division II national tournament.
