FLINT, Mich. – The Flint City Bucks have signed Jack Roman for the upcoming USL League Two season, pending league and federation approval. Roman is set to join the club alongside fellow Akron Zips Men's Soccer player Ashton Kamdem — the left back already announced for his second stint in Flint. Akron advanced this past fall to the NCAA Division I Tournament second round.
A both-sides winger and attacking midfielder, Roman made 17 appearances as an Akron freshman. He logged 406 minutes and got on the board with one assist. Top Drawer Soccer had him ranked as the region’s No. 24 recruit.
The native of Canfield, Ohio, was one of USL2’s top young players last summer with Cleveland Force SC. He appeared in nine matches and scored three times. The league named Roman among its Top Performers in June.
“A long-time player for Cleveland Force SC in their youth ranks, Roman is comfortable beyond his years in attack. He can score goals, as one of the youngest players in the league to consistently appear on the scoresheet and can contribute both in the middle and out wide. His shooting ability has been a major plus for the Force in 2024."
Flint City Bucks and Flint City AFC (women’s) season tickets for the summer 2025 season are on sale now. Visit flintcitybucks.com to join the Flint City family today.”
