MIAMI – Miami FC announced on Friday the club had signed midfielder Deian Verón ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season.
The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Verón joins Miami FC following a four-year professional tenure in Argentina with Club Estudiantes de La Plata in the Argentina top flight. Verón began with the Estudiantes academy, before signing with the First Team, where he recorded seven appearances across all competitions, including the Argentinian Cup and Copa Sudamericana.
The 24-year-old also recorded one goal in 19 appearances across all competitions for fellow Argentinian team Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero, notching his first goal in the Liga Professional against Patronato in July 2022.
“I am very happy and excited to be able to be part of Miami FC,” said Verón. “I am very enthusiastic to be able to have the opportunity to achieve great accomplishments. Vamos Miami.”
