Troy Athens to Host Alumni Night on May first, Game to Be Streamed Live

TROY, MI — The Troy Athens Red Hawks will celebrate their rich soccer tradition with a special Alumni Night on Thursday, May 1, as they take on Grand Blanc in what promises to be an exciting matchup.
The event will honor past players, coaches, and supporters of the Troy Athens soccer program, welcoming them back to the pitch for a night of recognition and high-level competition. Kickoff is set for the evening at Troy Athens High School.
In partnership with Premier Media Group and the Michigan Soccer Network, the game will be broadcast live on both YouTube and the NFHS Network, making it accessible to Red Hawks fans and alumni across the state and beyond.
Longtime Athens coach and program icon Tim Storch shared his excitement for the event:
"I'm excited to reconnect with former players and coaches that were the foundation of the success of Athens soccer that began in 1981 and still continues today. I am proud to be a part of that legacy but look forward to celebrating with the alumni that were at the core of those achievements. The real testimony of our Redhawk soccer program is honoring players that used athletic excellence to become champions as adults in their roles as parents and their chosen profession. That's the real celebration!"
