SHELBY TWP., Mich. – The Premier Media Group and the National Soccer Network came into an
agreement with the Livonia, Mich.-based Detroit Metro FC men’s soccer team on Tuesday to become
the new franchise’s exclusive live stream broadcast partners for each of their home games for the
inaugural 2025 campaign.
The franchise will compete in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) for its debut season and has
landed in the UPSL Midwest East Division for the spring/summer season that runs from April until the
middle of August. The division will include mostly teams in Michigan within 1-2 hours distance.
Detroit Metro FC will train at the Livonia Athletic District and will play its home games at the Legacy
Center Sports Complex near Brighton, Michigan. There will be around 12 league and non-UPSL games,
open cups and friendlies during the spring and summer months where broadcast live streams will be
hosted and produced by the National Soccer Network.
“We’re thrilled to partner with National Soccer Network to bring DMFC to the world through live
streaming. This is a huge step in showcasing our club, our players, and our vision to a broader audience,”
said Detroit Metro FC General Manager and Head Coach Alex Lubyansky.
Jonathan Turner, the President and Director of Broadcasting for PMG and NSN, echoed those
sentiments.
“We’re excited to become partners with Detroit Metro FC along with other clubs and franchises and
with various leagues all across the country in 2025 and beyond,” said Turner, also the founder of PMG
back in 2021. “We look forward to working with Detroit Metro and its staff and to bring an unbelievable
viewing experience to its fans.”
The Premier Media Group has grown exponentially since its formation in May of 2021. PMG launched
the Michigan Soccer Network and its website in 2022. The company continued to grow into 2024 and
has since created the National Soccer Network as well where MSN has been folded into that soccer-
heavy national broadcast company and media source on Jan. 1, 2025.
The PMG and NSN will host close to 3,000 games aired on their national network’s YouTube and Roku TV
channels in 2025 and conducting games in close to 40 states. The Roku TV channel became a 24-hour a
day service at the beginning of 2025.
