SHELBY TWP., Mich. – The High School Rankings Show is back.
Beginning this Sunday night (March 16), the Premier Media Group and its flagship production, the National Soccer Network (formerly the Michigan Soccer Network), will take a look at the preseason teams to watch list in high school girls soccer, as presented by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
The opening week will include discussion of 20 teams from each of the MHSAA’s four divisions that are projected to do well in 2025 or have been historically strong in recent years.
Then in April and May, each Sunday night from 8-9 p.m., NSN Director of News and Soccer Analyst Dan Stickradt along with either co-hosts Kennedy Broadwell or Patti Cesarini, will count down the top 15 teams, plus honorable mentions, in each of the state’s four divisions. The rankings will come from the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
This is the third school year that PMG has presented the state rankings through its channel on YouTube and will also be available this spring season on the Roku TV App as well. NSN launched its new Roku TV channels in late 2024.
The new National Soccer Network YouTube channel is NATIONALSOCCERNETWORKTV with the link still being https://www.youtube.com/c/MICHIGANSOCCERNETWORK.
The new website is www.nationalsoccernetwork.com, while the old Michigan Soccer Network website archives are still visible at www.michigansoccernetwork.com.
So … who are the most talented girls soccer teams projected for 2025 in the state of Michigan?
Tune in this Sunday night on either YouTube and Roku TV and watch the live show from our much-improved studios in Michigan, as the NSN crew will unveil the MIHSSCA preseason list.
Girls Soccer is contested in the spring months in 17 states nationally. In Michigan, the popular High School Rankings Show debuted on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, during the boys soccer season – becoming the first show of its kind in Michigan where state rankings in any prep sport are counted down and discussed live on a network. The staff at NSN have always used the MIHSSCA rankings each week for the weekly show that runs 8-10 weeks in the late summer and fall in the prep boys soccer season and again 8-10 weeks in the spring during the prep girls soccer season.
There are over 450 schools in Michigan that sponsor girls soccer between member schools of the Michigan High School Athletic Association, Michigan Association of Christian Schools, Michigan Christian Schools Athletic Association, Michigan Home Schools Sports Association and various independents scattered across the state.
The defending state champions in Michigan include:
MHSAA Division 1: Rochester Adams
MHSAA Division 2: Spring Lake
MHSAA Division 3: Hudsonville Unity Christian
MHSAA Division 4: Jackson Lumen Christi
Michigan Association of Christian Schools: Davison Faith Baptist
Michigan Christian Schools Athletic Association: Bloomfield Hills Christian
