CLARKSTON, Mich. – Erica Walker picked up the right time to net the brace.

The senior from Clarkston Everest Collegiate never trailed Thursday and ended up tripling up Madison Heights Bishop Foley 3-1.

Walker, a senior forward, scored the bookend goals in the contest. She fired home a serve from Marla Saad in the second minute to set the tone, and later scored the Mountaineers third goal to cap the scoring in the 70th minute for Everest Collegiate in CHSL AA Division play.

Walker had the assist on the eventual game-winner when Allison Schmitt blasted in her opportunity only 1:08 into the second half for the Mountaineers (2-0-0, 1-0-0).

Olivia Roe scored the lone goal for Bishop Foley (1-1-0, 0-1-0) off a penalty kick in the 56th minute.
