SHELBY TWP., Mich. – There is always a first time for everything.

For the Chihuahua Savage of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), that first time will come on Friday,

Feb. 14, as the Michigan-based Premier Media Group (PMG) and its flagship production and media

outlet National Soccer Network (NSN) will provide commentary in English for one of the Savage’s

upcoming home games.

Previously over the last several years, all home games for the Mexico-based Chihuahua Savage have had

broadcasts conducted solely in Spanish.

The MASL game featuring the host Savage and the visiting San Diego Sockers at the Corner Sport Arena

in Chihuahua, Mexico, will be aired live at 9 p.m. EST and 8 p.m. CT on the NSN’s YouTube and Roku TV

channels.

Popular, award-winning Michigan-based Neal Ruhl, who has some 20 years in the regional and national

broadcast circles working for the likes of NCAA Division I Oakland University, the Horizon League, USL

Championship, Detroit City FC, Woodward Sports Network and various other networks covering

professional, collegiate and high school athletics across Michigan and the U.S., will serve as the play-by-

play announcer for NSN’s broadcast on Feb. 14 and several others in the near future.

NSN’s very own Jonathan Turner and Dan Stickradt will also be a part of the live broadcast, with NSN

Director of News Dan Stickradt serving as color analyst and NSN Director of Broadcasting Jonathan

Turner leading up the production crew.
