MABLETON, Ga. – Kennesaw Harrison extended its win streak to eight games Tuesday with a resounding 10-0 victory over Mableton Pebblebrook.
The win also marked the Hoyas’ eighth straight shutout where Harrison has outscored the opposition 64-0.
Overall for the season, the Hoyas own a 78-8 scoring edge this season with the season not even half way over.
Sydney Snow and Sarah Houston led the way with three goals and an assist apiece in the rout. Caroline Shaw added two goals for the Hoyas, while Logan Torrenti and Claire Stevens also scored tor the winners.
Courtney Cangialosi and Ashley Davis also drew assists and Ava Wells recorded two saves for the shutout, the Hoyas’ ninth clean sheet of the campaign.
JEFFERSON 9, MONROE AREA 0: Jefferson, the top-ranked team in Class 3A, pushed its win streak to six games Tuesday with this lopsided victory in Region 8 play. The Dragons have outscored their opposition 31-1 during the streak and 44-5 this season. Jefferson improved to 10-2-0 overall with the win, including 4-0-0 in its region.
CUMMING WEST FORSYTHE 2, NORTH ATLANTA 0: The top-ranked team in Class 6A improved to 11-1-0 on the season with this shutout of North Atlanta. Senior Abby Baits and freshman Carsyn Murray scored the goals for the Wolverines.
